Supernova is officially five years old! We’ve come a long way since our first issue, learning so much about the world around us, ourselves and each other.

We’ve also strived to bring you something cool in every issue and something new in every volume. Volume 6 has lots of new, shiny things, but a lot of old favourites too.

When we think of wild cats, usually lions, leopards and cheetahs come to mind. But what about the smaller cats? Read all about servals in this issue. (p.12)

The coolest article in this issue is somewhat mind-blowing. It places us and how far we have come in perspective. We and the things we’ve achieved are so small in comparison to our place in the universe. Yet, we’re also very special! (p.18)

Our favourite scientist, Joey, shows us how we can also contribute to important scientific research. (p.26)

I love trains! Let’s take a trip back in time to discover how trains came about and how they changed the world. (p.30)

Who doesn’t love a good ghost story? These are homegrown! (p.36)
