Purchasing magazines

It’s very easy to renew subscriptions. Go to our online shop and purchase a new subscription. Please make sure to mention that you’re a re-subscriber in the notes section. Alternatively, just send us an email at sales@bkpublishing.co.za or phone us at 012 342 5347.

We also offer courier services. For the best value, you can purchase volume bundles which we will courier directly to you. Supernova is also available digitally at itsi and Magzter.

Some select independent shops sell Supernova. However, all our volumes (past and present) are available at our online shop. If you would like to sell Supernovas, please contact Alexander at alexander@bkpublishing.co.za.

Yes. We have all the appropriate security measures in place to make our payment gateways as safe as possible.

Schools

Yes, we love school visits as it is always tons of fun! We do presentations, quizzes and so much more (as long as you’re in Gauteng). Please contact Alexander (alexander@bkpublishing.co.za) or Kendall (kendall@bkpublishing.co.za) to schedule a meeting.

Shipping the magazine

It’s no problem. Merely send us an email with your name, surname and subscription name containing the updated information. We will update your details and send you a confirmation email once we have done this.

Unfortunately, the Post Office does take time or might have some logistical problems. Please send us an email so that we can investigate what is going on. If we have not received a returned magazine it can be assumed that your order was lost in transit and in this case, we will gladly replace your magazine. Just a reminder: Supernova only comes out ever second month.

Supernova comes out every two months.

You are more than welcome to use the illustrations. The illustrations are also for sale in print version. If you are looking for something specific email Alexander (alexander@bkpublishing.co.za) with a description of the illustration as well as the volume number.

Most issues of Supernova will have at least one feature that is completely and intentionally CAPS-aligned, and the other features can usually fall in as well. Click here for more.

Absolutely. We’ve designed Supernova to be attractive to kids and to be educational, so we love it if teachers or parents use it as an educational resource. For more on how to use Supernova in your classroom, click here and for the educational benefits of Supernova, click here.

It will depend on your child’s reading level and what he/she would be more interested in. High Five™ has text that is larger and kept to very short paragraphs, perfect for an early reader. Highlights™ has smaller text and more in-depth features and ideas.

Supernova magazine is designed for kids between the ages of 8 and 15. The levels of information, activities, jokes, and featured content will find a reader across the age group range. Kids that are still learning to read might prefer the Highlights™ magazines.
